Asset Manager - IT, Desktop Hardware, Service Now, Government, Hybrid, Manchester

Our client within the Public Sector requires a proven IT Asset Management Specialist to join a dedicated team within a major UK government department, focused on delivering essential services

As an IT Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our desktop hardware asset management processes and ensuring seamless integration of new services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the existing Desktop Hardware Asset Management team to implement and refine industry-standard asset management processes.
  • Expand capacity for end-to-end Desktop Hardware Asset Management.
  • Integrate and optimize processes for each new service.
  • Develop and maintain supporting documentation and reports.
  • Work closely with the wider asset management team to support daily operations across multiple service lines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in asset management.
  • Strong background in Desktop Hardware Asset Management.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with large government departments.
  • Expertise in hardware asset management processes.
