Job Title: Aftermarket Manager

Job Overview: As the Aftermarket Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the aftermarket operations within our organization. Your primary focus will be on enhancing customer satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and ensuring efficient operations within the aftermarket segment. You will lead a team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, optimizing aftermarket sales, managing inventory, and developing strategies to expand aftermarket business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of aftermarket professionals, including sales representatives, customer service agents, and technical support staff.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Aftermarket Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive aftermarket sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand aftermarket sales.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor sales approaches and product offerings accordingly.
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective aftermarket support and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key aftermarket customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to drive improvements in products and services.
Inventory Management:
  • Oversee aftermarket inventory planning, procurement, and management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
  • Implement inventory control measures and systems to track, monitor, and analyze inventory performance.
  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes and minimize lead times.
Process Optimization and Efficiency:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve aftermarket operations processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, product development, and manufacturing to align aftermarket strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritize aftermarket support for new product launches and product updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in aftermarket management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing aftermarket sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of CRM and ERP systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel may be required occasionally.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market dynamics and business needs.
