Credit Controller (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Our client based in Gloucester is looking for a Credit Controller to manage the allocated customer base and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that prompt payment is made, and appropriate actions are taken to follow up non-payment.
Work as a team of 4 Credit Controllers to prevent and reduce debt.
Work collaboratively with sales representatives across ledgers.
End to end ownership of the debt chasing process for your ledger of accounts to include documentation, query resolution and dunning letters.
Onboarding of new customers, including credit checks with reference agencies.
Other ad-hoc duties as required to support all areas of the business.
Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good IT skills and experience using systems and Microsoft office, including excel.
Positive and polite telephone manner.
Awareness of the pre-action protocols for debt claims to enable the business to issue court proceedings.
To ensure your application is not overlooked it is important that you emphasize any skills or work experience relevant to this position.
