Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Consultancy to recruit a Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer as part of their Stockport, Manchester based team.
This role would be perfect for someone who has worked in a Graduate or Junior Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer or Consultant role and is looking to take the next step up, or someone who has been successfully working in a Consultant role who is looking for a new challenge with a great opportunity to grow.
Conducting preconstruction investigations on site, including ground testing, soil sampling, and data collection and analysis, followed by producing detailed reports
Planning geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects based out of the Bristol office, helping to identify and set key timeframes and milestones for project delivery
Taking responsibility for the coordination of project resources including labour, materials, and suppliers
Analyse and assess data to produce outcomes for projects, using relevant software and technical knowledge, including health and safety standards and technical guidance documents
Working to schedule and analyse Chemical and Geotechnical Testing Data as provided by third parties
A Bachleors Degree in either Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or an adjacent/relevant field, a secondary qualifications such as an MSc or Meng is also desirable but not essential
Between 2-5 years of proven experience working in a role based around the site supervision of investigation works and projects
Computer and Geotechnical Software Literate
Full UK Clean Driving License and Willingness to Travel as part of the role
