Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Consultant Vacancy

Approach Personnel is pleased to collaborate with a reputable Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Consultancy to recruit a skilled Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Consultant as part of their Stockport, Manchester based team.

This consultancy role focuses on working within a team of experienced geotechnical and geoenvironmental specialists to provide expert services to clients across various sectors. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a Graduate or Junior Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer or Consultant role and is seeking to advance their career, or for a Consultant looking for a new challenge with opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Geotechnical Consultant, your daily tasks may include:

  • Conducting site investigations, including ground testing, soil sampling, and data collection and analysis, followed by producing detailed reports
  • Coordinating geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects based out of the Bristol office, helping to identify and set key timeframes and milestones for project delivery
  • Overseeing the coordination of project resources, including labour, materials, and suppliers
  • Analyzing and assessing data to produce outcomes for projects, using relevant software and technical knowledge, incorporating industry standards and best practices
