Business Development Manager roles/ duties: To identify and secure business opportunities in line with annual sales objectives and contribute to the sales process for the company in line with the business plan To sit alongside the bid manager in the preparation of high quality, high impact offerings and assist in the selling of such offerings as necessary, up to the point of securing an order. Marketing and selling of the business in line with the corporate business plan. Co ordinate with other BDM’s Essential: Standard of Education that demonstrates articulacy and ability to grasp technical matters Related Sales experience and market knowledge Experience of similar work in the construction industry Good understanding about the market competitors’ products Establishing and maintaining working/business relationships Desirable Established network of contacts
