Role Type Fixed Term (Fixed Term) What you'll be doing: Want to join a fast-paced team where no 2 days are ever the same? As our copywriter / editor, you'll get to work across print, digital and retail for all our channels and be responsible for B2B and B2C copy. Our TOV is powerfully positive, so you'll need to embody that with your engaging copy, attention to detail, workload management and stakeholder relationship building. Key responsibilities: Copy Development -Attending creative brief meetings to take requirements from stakeholders. -Aligning and executing copy to the brand TOV, ensuring consistency across every touch point. -Ensuring strategy and creative direction are aligned and achieving sales objectives. -Review and identify copy development areas across the varying channels. -Ensure global copy toolkits are used effectively where appropriate and localised if necessary. Copy Creation -Writing SEO optimised online copy, and offline copy and working in an agile manner to hit deadlines and schedules. -Working on B2B and B2C projects in print and digital copy and working with the legal and regulatory teams to gain. -Understanding competitor activity and ensuring the latest creative and category trends are implemented. -Collaborating with the UK Marketing sub teams to ensure consistent, holistic, 360 campaigns. Copy Editing -Editing print pieces from brochure and Focus (our Rep magazine) to ad hoc flyers and B2B DMs, ensuring all copy is complete, meets TOV expectations and is technically accurate. -Working with the European Copy & Production Teams to improve process and align on changes. Senior Copywriter Support -Working closely with the Senior Copywriter to complete regular market reviews, as well as supporting with scheduling and other ad hoc tasks. -Provide relevant input into copy / creative training / workshops. Work Experience & Education: -Degree calibre with A-Level and degree in English/Advertising. -Relevant commercial experience within sales promotion in an agency or in-house creative team. -Experience working to tight schedules with a high focus on attention to detail, excellent spelling and grammar are essential. -Direct selling copywriting experience desirable. -Ability to use SEO practices to optimise articles and increase visibility. -Passion for the beauty industry and knowledge of competitor activity taking cues from retail environments and other direct selling competitors to develop a seamless UX. Skills & Competencies: -As a key member of the Creative Team, you'll need proven creative ability and strong communication skills at all levels, engaging with Senior Management in reviews and daily relationship-building with all UK Commercial Marketing sub-teams. -You'll need strong negotiation skills and confidence to present your copy, and you'll be a self-starter who can prioritise and effectively manage your time. -You'll need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to ensure your voice is heard in a busy environment. -You'll be able to craft detailed information into customer-friendly and Rep-focused copy, gaining stakeholder and legal approval. -You'll be able to work with internal software to load, review and edit copy. -You'll have day-to-day awareness of the ongoing online and offline schedules and processes to ensure deadlines are met. -You'll be confident interpreting and answering briefs to produce effective copy within the brand direction.
