The Role

We're seeking a dynamic Technical Lead Engineer to act as our CTO's quarterback. You will mediate between our CTO and technical partners while leading hands-on activities across our engineering efforts.

This is a remote role.

As a Technical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading software development projects, managing engineering teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects. You will be involved in programming and automation tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation to achieve company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Act as a technical advisor to the CTO, providing guidance and strategic insights.
  • Translate our strategic vision into technical execution plans.
  • Oversee the development of blockchain and fintech solutions, ensuring alignment with Axalio's vision.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow our internal development team.
  • Coordinate with external tech partners, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Facilitate resource ramp-up based on immediate and planned roadmaps.

Hands-on Development:

  • Develop and maintain key components of our blockchain platform.
  • Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code in Python, Node.js, and other modern technologies.
  • Ensure high-quality DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Cloud Computing & DevOps:

  • Lead cloud infrastructure design and deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Hyper Protect Cloud).
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).
  • Establish best practices for code repository management (GitHub, BitBucket).

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CTO and CEO to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Drive the integration of blockchain, fintech, and tokenization concepts.

Qualifications

  • Strong software development, programming, and automation skills (Python, Node.js)
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and tokenization
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Hyper Protect Cloud)
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Notion, Asana, Kanban).
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in an early-stage startup environment
  • Agility in navigating go-to-market strategies and identifying immediate opportunities
  • Experience in project management and engineering management
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of sustainable and green initiatives is a plus
