The Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our Sales department, ensuring the seamless continuity of sales operations, particularly in the absence of staff due to holidays & sickness. This position involves providing essential administrative support to the team, supporting our CRM system year-round, and helping during periods of team members' leave. We are seeking a candidate who is detail-oriented, highly organised, motivated, and adept at multitasking. The responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, such as CRM monitoring & support, signposting, order processing, addressing customer enquiries, and serving as the primary point of contact during periods when sales team members are away.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer, Prospect & Internal Interaction:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers & prospects alike during periods of absence within the sales team (sickness/holiday) – signposting queries to relevant team members and departments
  • Proactively respond to enquiries via email or phone promptly and professionally
  • Direct or escalate customer enquiries to the appropriate stakeholder when necessary
  • Manage customer orders, enquiries, and issues efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to support their activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments

Administrative Support :

  • Support and drive CRM best practice
  • Generate sales reports and analytics as required
  • Assist with data consistency, record-keeping, and document management
  • Prepare and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely response
  • Maintain organised sales records and files

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role, ideally within a sales setting
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Team player willing to go above and beyond to help shape our rapidly growing company
  • Confident, engaging and professional telephone manner
  • Experience in using CRM systems, ideally Pipedrive
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience of working in IT or Cyber Security sales would be a significant advantage
  • Knowledge of technology would be a significant advantage
