Job Role: Application Security Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Application Security Engineer to join our leading client, on a Remote Basis The role would require 1 day on site a month in the midlands, however all other work is to be completed on a remote basis

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global software teams to implement processes and/or tool for secure code reviews, code signing, and code scanning
  • Enforce and conduct operational readiness reviews with regards to application security of the global software organization
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that global software solutions implement the automation of security processes and services
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest application security solutions for the team’s assigned work

Experience Sought

  • Some experience with C# and/or JavaScript
  • Experience performing static and dynamic code scans, preferably in Veracode
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in environments such as Azure DevOps
  • Experience security IaaS architectures
  • Have a good working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Security risks
  • Preferred certificate in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP); bonus certificate in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
