Salary: up to £120k + equity

Location: fully remote

✅ Must have requirements:

  • Application Security: 5+ years of experience, including design-level guidance, threat modelling, code review and application security testing
  • Cloud Security: Experience with AWS and understanding cloud security considerations for product engineering teams
  • SaaS Product Security: Understanding the unique security challenges of SaaS products
  • Development: Ability to read and make iterative improvements to production code, identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities
  • Automation: Proven track record of implementing automation in a security context
  • Scaling AppSec: Experience in scaling AppSec programs in rapidly growing environments (ideally hyper-growth start-ups)
  • Communication Skills and Empathy: Ability to build strong relationships with internal engineering teams and provide empathetic, informed advice

Bonus points for:

  • Software Engineering background/having worked as a full-time developer in the past
  • Experience in security incident response
  • Building out DevSecOps pipelines and integrating security platforms programmatically
  • Supporting machine learning teams in building and training models
  • Achieving compliance with security frameworks like ISO27001 and SOC2
