About The Role

allpay Limited is a leading UK Fintech company, dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a results driven Manager of Client Development to lead our Client Development team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction and drive business growth.

As the Manager of Client Development, you will be responsible for building a dynamic and driven CDM team and cultivating strategic partnerships and solutions. Your focus will also be on developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders while overseeing the CDM team's performance and success. You should be passionate about delivering great service to clients, highly organised and efficient, enjoy managing a team and helping them be their best, and motivated to increase revenue.

Some of the other elements you will be leading/involved in are:

  • Lead and inspire the CDM team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction, sales targets, foster a high-performance culture, and promote collaboration across the organisation.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities via your team, strategically expanding client services and revenue streams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive business growth and market penetration, aligning with the company's goals. With a clear vision on how best to grow and develop a multi-faceted Client Development Team supporting multiple sectors/verticals.
  • Analise client relationship, sales and team management metrics, providing insights to enhance strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they possess the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to enhance our offering and address client needs effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

About You

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A leader who can inspire, motivate, and guide the CDM team towards achieving ambitious goals. And effectively manage the delivery of such.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrable skill in managing complex teams and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Thrives in a team-oriented environment and can collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Existing knowledge or the drive to understand and build on Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates a deep understanding of the payments processing industry and public sector.
