Project Manager - Plumbing
Our client is a leading provider of plumbing services, specialising in commercial and residential projects. With a commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we deliver innovative plumbing solutions tailored to our clients' needs. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with expertise in plumbing to join our team.
Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to oversee plumbing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and installations, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying size and complexity. As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage all aspects of plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications.
Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for project execution, negotiating pricing and terms to achieve cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate onsite activities, including material deliveries, installations, inspections, and commissioning, to ensure timely completion of work.
Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key metrics such as schedule adherence, budget variance, and quality control.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive measures to minimize impact on project delivery.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on plumbing systems and installations.
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
Proven track record of successfully managing plumbing projects of varying size and complexity.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary project teams.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
PMP, PE, CPD) preferred but not required.
