One of our large biotech clients are currently seeking a Antibody Discovery Scientist to join their team.

Client

The client has had considerable year on year growth and we have worked extensively with the client placing over 45 people into their teams and receiving positive feedback from this.

The role

This role sits within the early solutions team and is responsible for engineering and discovery of antibodies using in vitro display library and B cell technology. You would be applying new molecular biological techniques to discover and optimise processes that support novel therapeutic research. You would be responsible for performing binding assays and contribute to new antibody discovery methodologies.

Requirements

  • Experience with Phage display, phage mid or phage viruses and/or bovine antibodies
  • Knowledge of Flow cytometry and sequence manipulation
  • Experience of biochemical techniques used for molecular characterization such as ELISA, FACS, SPR or BLI and antibody expression / purification is an advantage.
  • MSc or higher in a scientific subject
