We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative organisation committed to driving impactful business and technology change. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join my client's project services team and play a critical role in leading projects that transform both their business processes and technology systems.

Role Overview:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and delivery of key business and technology change projects. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, shape solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, you will mentor and guide a team of business analysts, helping them develop their skills and ensure the consistency and quality of business analysis across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of business and technology change projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, and translate them into clear technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to ensure that project goals are clearly understood and met.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Business Analysts, providing leadership, support, and skill development.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform process analysis, create workflows, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop detailed documentation, including business cases, user stories, functional specifications, and test plans.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are of the highest quality.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve project delivery and business analysis processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering successful business and technology change projects.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading a team of Business Analysts, with a focus on developing skills and ensuring quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and understand the broader business impact of decisions.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed process flows, documentation, and user stories.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant business systems and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Prince2) are a plus.
