Accounts Administrator Location: London Reporting to: Finance Controller We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client’s fast-paced finance function as a Finance Administrator. In this role, you will provide support to the finance operations team, assisting with daily banking and reconciliation, credit control, supplier reconciliations, and month-end activities. If you have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, we want to hear from you
Prepare daily/weekly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card income, other income, and receipts
Support the processing and review of payments to suppliers, staff (expenses), and company credit cards
Investigate and prepare credit requests in collaboration with other departments, such as Customer Services and Operations
Assist with external reporting requirements, including VAT return preparation and delivery of year-end accounts to auditors
Support internal reporting requirements, such as month-end management accounts and running cost centre reports
Provide support to the credit control function as requested by the credit controller
Handle customer queries via phone and email
Prepare other ad hoc external reporting requirements, such as National Statistics
Manage daily bookkeeping tasks as requested, including petty cash
Assist management accountants and senior members of the finance team with other tasks as needed
Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup, pivot tables, and SUMIFS
Experience working with general ledger systems, ideally Intact IQ
Studying towards an accountancy qualification
