HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Salary: Up to £25.00ph

Work Schedule: Nights Mon - Thurs

Responsibilities:

  • As an HGV Technician, conduct comprehensive inspections on HGVs to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • The HGV Technician you will use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex faults accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on HGVs, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
  • Complete repairs as needed, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant with regulations, and fit for purpose
  • Conduct pre-MOT inspections and bring vehicles up to standard where necessary.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is required for a HGV Technician.
