HGV Technician Salary: £41,449 basic / £48,846 OTE (OTE based on 5 hours overtime per week) Contract Type: Permanent Work Schedule: Earlies and lates 7am-3.30pm/12.30pm-9.00pm (1 in 3 Sat mornings) We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers and some ancillary equipment.
This HGV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Benefits: Overtime opportunity paid at x1.5 and x2.0 depending on when worked Profit share bonus up to 5.6k per annum Death in service 25 days holiday plus B/H Training and development opportunities which include Irtec, Tacho, HGV licence Annual pay rises Responsibilities: As an HGV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards The HGV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the HGV Technician.
