As an Oil Derivatives Paper Trader, you will be responsible for executing and managing trading strategies in the oil derivatives market. You will utilize your deep market knowledge, quantitative skills, and trading acumen to generate profits while adhering to the firm’s risk management guidelines. Develop and implement trading strategies for oil derivatives, including futures, options, and swaps.
Execute trades efficiently, monitor positions, and manage risk exposure in real-time.
Conduct in-depth market analysis using technical and fundamental analysis to identify trading opportunities.
Collaborate with research analysts, risk managers, and other traders to refine trading strategies and improve performance.
Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, geopolitical events, and economic data impacting the oil markets.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports for senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) are preferred.

~ Proven track record of profitability and risk management in oil derivatives trading.
