Production Planner Hampshire £28-30k Production Planner urgently required to work for a specialist manufacturing business. We are looking for an experienced planner who has a strong knowledge and working experience within a manufacturing/ Production environments. This is a key role to the business where you will be responsible for the scheduling and coordinating of products from sales Orders through manufacturing to completion, ensuring maximum performance and minimum delay. You will work closely with the Production team to schedule work according to customer requirements and with the procurement team to understand any constraints potentially affecting the completion date. Your daily duties will include: Manage the scheduling and planning of works orders to guarantee that sales orders are scheduled in accordance with the lead time of the customer. You will arrange work in accordance with client needs and to comprehend any obstacles that can delay the sales order completion date Close collaboration with the procurement team and the production team. Manage the distribution of Sales orders to guarantee that important deadlines are met in full and MRP can function properly. Set up MRP so that it functions properly and is processed in accordance with the planned timeline. Collaborate closely with the procurement team to guarantee that any problems found that could have an impact on Sales and work orders are resolved quickly. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that any problems detected that could have an impact on Sales and work orders are resolved as soon as possible. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that system promised deadlines are met. Primary contact for all questions and updates on sales orders, including escalation of issues, and reporting on any delays, elevated risks, or missed milestones for sales orders on a weekly basis.Knowledge and Experience A team player, with a strong desire to succeed, a 'can do' attitude. Confident in dealing with day to day queries independently Excellent verbal, written communication and strong excel skills. Good understanding and experience of SAGE 200 ERP or similar, along with ERP and MRP systems. Have a high level of initiative and ability to influence and engage with key stakeholders Excellent organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management.
