SEO & PPC Specialist The Role


We're seeking a part-time SEO and PPC Specialist with experience in optimising client campaigns, conducting keyword analysis, and creating performance reports. The candidate should be proficient in Google Analytics, website administration, and review management. Monthly keyword performance analysis and optimisation using SEMRush, and taking action based on analysis and optimisation strategies to improve the account.
Proficient with Google Analytics and experienced with GA4, ideally certified, to monitor website traffic and user behaviour and to track and report on key metrics.
Competent with Google Ads, ideally certified, to manage and optimise client campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook, including targeting options, bids, ad copy, and landing pages. Responsible for setting up new Google Ads accounts and campaigns and creating ad copy.
Campaign Analysis and Reporting: Responsible for monthly campaign analysis and reporting to measure and track campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics.
Website Administration and Technical Tasks: Responsible for routine technical tasks, such as Search Console monitoring and issue reporting, creating 301 plans, and ensuring that website content and images are optimised with appropriate META and share data.
Content Optimisation: Responsible for optimising content for search engines and making recommendations for improvements.
Occasional creation of dashboards in Looker Studio to enhance data visualisation and analysis capabilities for clients.
Monitoring and responding to client reviews on Google Business on behalf of clients to ensure that their online reputation is managed effectively.
Meeting Attendance: Attend monthly client meetings to discuss ongoing work related to SEO and PPC, and attend team scheduling and planning meetings to coordinate project timelines and workflows.
SEO & PPC Specialist What we need from you
• You are comfortable managing multiple projects and prioritising tasks, ensuring project deadlines and tasks are completed on time.
• You are a detail-oriented person and you love data and don t need an excuse to pop something in a spreadsheet. You have the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and are confident in developing data-driven strategies.
• You like to stay on top of changing trends and algorithms in the digital marketing industry is important for staying current with best practices and maintaining a competitive edge.
We offer a competitive salary of GBP25K to GBP35K pro rata, based on experience, along with 32 days of holiday and pension benefits. Our role is designed within a flexible hybrid working model, where regular office attendance is not mandatory. However, we expect team members to be willing to come into our fantastic Edinburgh office for meetings, team gatherings, and collaborative work sessions as needed. Our office is equipped with an on-site cafe, gym, secure bike storage, and shower facilities, supporting a balanced and flexible working environment.
The role is part-time and we anticipate 20-30 hours per week, we're open to finding a working model that is mutually beneficial for everyone. The right candidate will need a degree of flexibility to work around client commitments, but we are also willing to be flexible to accommodate your own commitments.
