Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Opening West of Boston, MA - Flexible Day Shift
An academic-affiliated Hospital in eastern Massachusetts is adding a Geriatric Psychiatry Physician due to growth.
About the Opportunity:
Join one other Psychiatrist and one APRN
The position is open to a general Psychiatrist or Geriatric Psychiatrist
Cases include: Geriatric Psychiatry, mainly Dementia, adult cases, depression and anxiety
Option to do consults however not required
We are opening the 21-bed unit to adult inpatients in addition to geriatric patients
The expected daily patient census is 10. Bonuses for seeing additional patients
This is a Med/Psych unit so there is a medical service to co-manage patients and treat medical presentation
Call is not required and is paid additionally
Medical Student Teaching. Residents rotate through all inpatient units
Full benefits package with an attractive salary

Located less than one hour west of Boston. 16 miles from Worcester
Quiet community in Worcester County with a beautiful downtown area
Population of 13,000 people
Nearby towns include Leominster, Hudson, Marlborough
