Job Title: Strategic Account Executive

My client is a leading provider of innovative software solutions designed to empower businesses and drive digital transformation. With a commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service, they are dedicated to helping organisations thrive in today's dynamic business landscape.

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Account Executive to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and cultivating relationships with key strategic accounts. By leveraging their software solutions to address the unique needs and challenges of their clients, the Strategic Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  3. Solution Selling: Identify client needs and challenges, and position our software solutions as strategic solutions to address them.
  4. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and account expansion.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure alignment and support for client initiatives.
  6. Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed in product development and service delivery.
  7. Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field required; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sales or account management, preferably in the software industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
