Account Executive

Barker Munro recruitment is delighted to be working with this major player in the UK insurance broker market and who have an exciting vacancy in their Kent office for an Account Executive

The role of Account Executive will be predominantly servicing an existing book of clients but with the remit to build on this and develop other new relationships with clients. There will be no scary new business targets initially but if you are someone that likes to generate new business and new clients in an organic way and you will be incentivised and rewarded with growth on your account.

Key responsibilities will be to; 
Manage a portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients.
Identify, and agree strategies for, clients’ risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives. 
Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees.
Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams.


We are seeking either an experienced Account Executive or a Senior Account handler looking to build on your experience in the commercial insurance space and looking to make the step into an Executive role with commercial insurance background. You will enjoy building on existing relationships with a broad spectrum of clients to ensure renewal rates are high.
