The opportunity

Pinewood Technologies is currently searching for a hands-on Full Stack Software Developer to join the team and help create innovative software solutions for automotive retailers around the world.

Our award-winning product, Pinewood DMS, is an end-to-end cloud-based solution that helps automotive retailers streamline their processes, and work more efficiently.

As a Software Developer at Pinewood, you will be responsible for working the full development life cycle from design through to release. We’re looking for an experienced individual who loves creating innovative web solutions and has a true passion for coding and web architecture.

What to Expect

About You

Pinewood has a big development team, so cross-team collaboration will be a part of your day-to-day job. The ideal person for this role will be a confident communicator and an active member of the team. We look for curious people, that ask questions, and have a desire to learn and develop themselves long term.

You will also need experience in the following technical areas:

  • C#
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • .NET/ .NET Core
  • Database development – you will be comfortable with writing queries, performance optimization, table design, stored procedures, T-SQL

We also look for:

  • Azure DevOps/ TFS/ any source control provider
  • SQL Server
  • Visual Studio
  • Experience with Agile frameworks

About Us

Pinewood Technologies PLC was established in 1981, with our head office based in Birmingham, UK. We offer a cloud-based Dealership Management System for retailers in the global automotive sector. Our DMS allows automotive retailers to work more efficiently and assists them with providing a high standard of customer service, resulting in higher profits.

Our system is also complemented by a range of integrated mobile apps which helps to further digitalise processes within the motor dealership. Our customers represent over 50 major automotive brands, with over 30,000 people using our DMS on a daily basis in the UK, the Nordics, South Africa, Asia Pacific, and various countries across Europe.
