As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference to residents' lives as you improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life and career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress with us.

As a support worker you will be working at our residential service where we support 8 individuals with Learning Disabilities. Our care services are about people's whole lives and therefore we make them human and personal. As a support worker will be required to provide a person-centred approach in all aspects of the client’s lives, including managing their home, some personal care, accessing their local community facilities, and maintaining contact with other important people in their lives. You will be supporting people who have learning disabilities, Autism, and other health conditions. A full UK driving license is preferable.

Shift Patterns

You will be working a range of shifts from 7:00/8:00 am to 2:00/3:00pm and 2:00/3:00 pm to 9:00/10:00pm, sleep ins or waking nights, some weekends.

Promoting the independence of people we support by developing their life skills and personal interests

Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or going away on holiday

Arranging activities in the home and in the local community

Assisting with personal care needs and manual handing

Supporting people with medication

We use a digital social care record system, to support daily recording, which will make your day-to-day tasks easier and allows you to spend more time with the People We Support.

We are looking for support workers who are conscientious and dependable to carry out tasks to the best of their ability. We are seeking support workers who are organized and able to respond to the unexpected.
