People Operations Manager

Overall leadership and management of the People Team; HR & Safeguarding, inspiring the team and give them opportunities for growth and developing the people talent for tomorrow.
Manage relationships across the organisationand act as a trusted advisor to business and football leadership and management teams
Provide counsel and partner with leadership to create and execute on strategies for recruiting, reward, succession planning, training and development, DE&I, people management and employee relations
Design HR strategies that motivate and enable employees to elevate performance
Develop HR policies and procedures
Act as the first line of defence for our brand and its core principles both internally and externally. Ensure fan centricity and our brand (heart and soul) are embedded in internal DNA and across our people.
Take ownership of all HR information and platforms - a culture of self-serve, relentlessly identifying opportunities for making the process seamless
Manage all regulatory and compliance around HR matters, whether UK employment law or football specific from the appropriate governing bodies.
A proven HR professional with extensive experience in both generalist and specialist fields, a commercially driven and pragmatic leader
Strong stakeholder management skills and client focus with high sense of accountability and ownership
Decision maker, influencer and skilled at building networks and connections
Analytical and numerate, able to guide data-driven decision making
Commitment to professional and personal development, desire to learn and develop and bring relevant external thinking back to the business, includes developing and maintaining networks.
