Powder Coater Position Overview Prepare wheels for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them in the correct positions. Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens. Apply powder coating to wheels, ensuring an even, high-quality finish according to company specifications. Inspect finished products for quality control, identifying any defects or inconsistencies and making necessary adjustments. Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper ventilation in the coating area. Collaborate with other production staff to ensure timely completion of daily work orders. Track production outputs and report any equipment malfunctions or production delays to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
