Powder Coater Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our production team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to wheels and ensuring a consistent, durable finish that meets our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare wheels for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them in the correct positions.
  • Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens.
  • Apply powder coating to wheels, ensuring an even, high-quality finish according to company specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control, identifying any defects or inconsistencies and making necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper ventilation in the coating area.
  • Collaborate with other production staff to ensure timely completion of daily work orders.
  • Track production outputs and report any equipment malfunctions or production delays to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
Powder Coater Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Live within a commutable distance of Tipton.
  • Have previous experience working within a Powder Coating position.
  • Experience working in a wheel manufacturing or automotive parts production environment is highly advantageous.
Powder Coater Position Remuneration

We offer a competitive package, including:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:30pm (Friday finish at 14:00pm).
  • Competitive holiday allowance.
  • Pension.
