We are looking for a People Operations Partner who can deliver excellent People Operations initiatives in the UK, Netherlands, Lithuania and Israel (EMEA). This will be done through developing, implementing and optimising HR policies, procedures and programmes. The People Operations Partner supports overall HR functions and objectives, which includes policies & procedures, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, training and development, and compliance with relevant employment laws.
HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures
Ensure consistent application of policies across the organisation such as our Employee Handbook
Reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management and understanding when to escalate issues
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pensions, insurances and other perks
Lead the annual renewal process for all EMEA benefits
Employee Relations:
Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
Performance Management:
Support the performance management process
Provide feedback and guidance on performance improvement
Training and Development:
Help facilitate training sessions on various HR-related topics
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local employment laws
Prepare and maintain HR records and documentation
Work with our payroll team on processing the EMEA payroll monthly
Work with our government authorities, immigration advisors and/or law firms to process and manage all immigration cases and mobility cases for EMEA
Proven work experience in people operations or similar role in a fast-growing startup/scaleup environment. You’re an executor who’s passionate about policies and procedures. You are great at reading the room, picking up the unsaid, and tailoring your approach as needed
Have mastery of HR systems (e.g. Are familiar with various legal requirements when it comes to payroll, leaves of absence, and immigration. Maintaining transparency and equity is a sticking point with you and you proactively raise concerns and solutions in order to help the organisation maintain compliance across all employee areas
Certification in Human Resources is an advantage
