As the Deputy Soft Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Soft Services Manager in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality facility services. Assist the Soft Services Manager in overseeing the soft services department - security, cleaning and waste management and ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
· Supervise a team of soft services staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
· Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to understand their requirements and develop customized facility solutions
· Monitor service delivery and conduct regular quality assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
· Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and invoicing, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
· The primary focus is to assist in managing the operational day to day performance/standard as well and implementation & continuous review of strategy & processes across the services.
· To assist in managing, overseeing the efficient & effective operation of the Security & Cleaning services within the contract, maintaining agreed contractual specification standards, ‘Service Level Agreements’ & ‘Key Performance Indictors’ To enhance the customer experience & reputation of the client organisation & ABM. To ensure team members are motivated, skilled, trained, supervised & supported to deliver exceptional operational & customer service standards at all times whilst complying with all Client’s & Company’s policies, procedures, relevant regulations & legislation
· To ensure the contract is manned to agreed levels at all times, as instructed by the client
· Conduct annual appraisals of the team members in line with company policies and encourage further development of the teams
· Monitor and improve staff performance to agreed standards, time keeping, presentation and customer service
· Adopt Duty Manager Role on a planned rota basis
· Represent Management at meetings and group events when needed
Holder of the SIA DS/CCTV licence
Proven experience in facilities services or a similar role, with a focus on soft services
Proficient in IT and using different software and tools
