psd group are delighted to have partnered with a global end-to-end business services organisation to support them with the appointment of an IT Delivery Director. This role will report directly to the CIO and have significant influence on the Technology, Data and Digital strategies across the business working closely with executive and senior stakeholders. You will need to balance your time between delivery across 4 teams (20+ headcount) whilst ensuring effective management and engagement with senior stakeholders.
As IT Delivery Director you will work report directly to the CIO, supporting the Tech, Data and Digital leadership team and senior business stakeholders to set the strategy, build capabilities and drive key objectives of the Governance, Demand, Programme and Project Management and Business Relationship Management functions to provide good quality, cost effective delivery for the UK&I, aligned to the needs of the business.
Accountable for the effective delivery of key governance, demand, PPM and Business Relationship Management activities.
Ensuring through governance Tech, Data & Digital operates effectively to manage and focus on key risks and compliance activities and drives improving standards.
Provide effective resource management, ensuring the Tech, Data and Digital organisation including delivery is efficiently resourced through multiple channels with appropriate planning for growth and driving cost efficiencies.
Efficient and cost-effective management of delivery of the portfolio to agreed budget, scope and timelines, managing resources, dependencies and senior stakeholders.
Ensuring the governance around demand and delivery are effective and support alignment of the overall Portfolio with our Annual Business Planning cycle including creating channels to outsource Tech, Data & Digital activities to support the delivery of our strategy.
Improving standards in Project and Programme management, aligning to industry standards and championing the future development of more agile and product focused delivery.
Building effective relationships with our key business contacts through maturing of the Business Relationship Manager roles and capabilities and ensuring Tech, Data & Digital are fully sighted on the priorities of the business and aligning to the strategic business planning (Annual Business Plans) and technical roadmaps.

Experience building capabilities, manging and optimising Demand and PPM functions, processes and driving improving standards through coaching.
~ Strong understanding of IT, PPM and demand management.
~10+ years of leading a large global delivery team and managing demand as a region within a global organisation with complex, matrix structured entities and budgets of £30m+.
~ Outsourced Supplier management and extensive experience of negotiating £multi-million contracts.
