HR Adviser

Oversee HR Co-ordinators in their daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide guidance and mentoring for the development of HR Co-ordinators in general HR
Work with HR Manager for the recruitment of offshore and shorebased personnel and
Coordinate payroll data (exceptions) in preparation to submission to payroll department.*
• Work with HR Co-ordinators to ensure offshore personnel who are on sick leave are being
Attendance at weekly rig meetings with HR Co-ordinators to provide guidance and resolution to
Work with HR Co-ordinators to develop and propose plan for offshore personnel transfers
within fleet.
• Cover for HR Co-ordinators annual leave*
• Project work or general HR tasks as directed by HR Manager.
• Attendance at HR Forums, for example IADC.
• Periodic offshore/shipyard visits.
• Support OIM and Rig Manager with promotions, demotions and transfers.
• Effective interpretation and application of HR policies and processes and communicating them
to offshore personnel; Any other HR generalist duties as directed by the HR Manager.
• Support with recruitment events as required.
• Provide HR on-call cover as and when scheduled.
• Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification or extensive relevant
Achieved or working towards CIPD membership or local equivalent
• Valid offshore survival and pre-mobilisation certification (ie BOSIET, CA-EBS, (any other
Experience in general HR at an advisory level and Logistics/Crew Management
• Fluency in written and spoken English required
• Competent use of HRIS systems and MS Office
• Highly effective relationship building skills both internal & external; performance and lead through example
