Details/duties:

- Demonstrate and support the PBS safety culture program and HSE project objectives and directives
- Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the business
- Ensure the successful delivery of all people related activities within area of responsibility to meet the operational requirements of the client
- Be an advocate of continuous improvement throughout the consortium, continually reviewing and streamlining processes to ensure they are efficient, fit for purpose and legally compliant
- Guide and advise managers on all people related and employment law matters
- Focal point for all HR operational matters within area of responsibility
- Ensure Company, client and trade union requirements are anticipated and met
- Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders with regards to a broad range of ER issues and cases, including performance management, absence management maternity, paternity, adoption, flexible working, grievances, disciplinaries and capability
- Support in the recruitment process, assisting in decision making, where required to ensure resource requirements are met for area of responsibility
- Champion performance management process and initiatives. Coach, influence, and encourage managers to provide clear goals and objectives, feedback and development. Support management to take appropriate steps to address performance issues
- Maintaining the data in the HRS in line with GDPR and deliver accurate management information to shape decisions, focusing on key KPIs including headcount, turnover, absence etc
- Lead and support change management initiatives whilst maintaining effective operational delivery
- Present Company Induction to new starts, ensuring delivery is professional, engaging and effective, with a welcoming and enthusiastic approach
- Conduct regular offshore and site visits
- Any other duties as directed by the HR Manager

Accountabilities:

- Proactively provide guidance and advice to managers and supervisors on all people related issues and employment law matters
- Focal point for all HR operational matters within area of responsibility
- Ensure active involvement in all people management activities, covering Attract, Select, Develop, Perform, Reward and Re-assign, managing the employee life cycle
- Responsible for the recruitment and delivery of the on-boarding process within area of responsibility
- Provide HR advice to managers regarding investigation and resolving ER issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters
- Provide guidance and advice to managers in aspects of health and well-being, ensuring internal policies and legislative requirements are followed. Includes return-to-work, long term health matters, as well as managing issues from compliance regarding medical examinations
- Highlight developmental or training requirements and work closely with colleagues to deliver developmental interventions
- Continually seek opportunities to improve employee engagement in the Company and seek to advise and coach Managers on improving this
- Build and maintain a close relationship with client groups to ensure that managers follow process regarding performance management
- Be an integral business partner and focal point on the project for all operational HR issues
- Ensure all collection, processing, storage and sharing of personal data is in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR
- Ensure all personal data is processed lawfully, with the appropriate security and is stored no longer than necessary
- Be willing and able to travel offshore and to sites as required.

Qualifications/Experience required:

- Minimum of 3 years in a similar position
- CIPD Level 3 minimum
- BOSIET / Survival preferable
- Excellent understanding of UK Employment Law
- HR Experience within an Oli & Gas Offshore environment
- Ability to quickly build relationships and gain credibility with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise high demanding work volumes within a face paced environment
