Mechanical Technician // Electrical Technician - £30k to £40k - EV - Berkshire
Are you mechanically or electrically inclined and ready to drive innovation in the hydrogen industry? A leading hydrogen company is seeking a talented Mechanical Technician and a talented Electrical Technician to join their team. As they pioneer clean energy solutions worldwide, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our hydrogen production facilities.

Role: Mechanical Technician
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems within hydrogen production facilities.
Assemble mechanical components and subsystems according to engineering drawings, specifications and assembly procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain records of assembly procedures, test results, maintenance activities, and equipment performance data to ensure accurate documentation for compliance and continual improvement purposes.
Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize mechanical systems for hydrogen production processes.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in industrial settings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment used in hydrogen production is advantageous.
Role: Electrical Technician
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within hydrogen production facilities.
Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, maintenance activities, test results, and equipment performance data, documenting findings and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize electrical systems for hydrogen production processes.
Technical certification in electrical engineering technology, electrical systems, or a related field.
~ Extensive experience working as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with experience in electrical installation, testing, and maintenance.
~Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
~ Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed to support project deadlines and production schedules.
