The Opportunity Weighbridge Operator

We are now looking for a skilled Weighbridge Operator to become a part of our dynamic team at our asphalt plant in Cauldon. This position plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in vehicle weighing and data management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operating the weighbridge, ensuring all vehicles are accurately weighed in and out.
  • Maintaining accurate records of weights and measures for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Customer and Client Communication- Interact with customers and haulage drivers, offering outstanding service and assistance.
  • Coordinating with site operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance with site safety regulations.
  • Processing and management of weighbridge data, and preparation of weighbridge tickets.
  • Assisting in the implementation of site health and safety policies.
  • Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the weighbridge and associated systems.

Who You Are?
  • Proven experience in operating weighbridges, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous Experience in an asphalt industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers and staff.
  • IT literate, with experience in data entry and the use of weighbridge software.
  • Awareness of health and safety practices, ideally with relevant qualifications.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
