The Opportunity – Weighbridge Operator We are now looking for a skilled Weighbridge Operator to become a part of our dynamic team at our asphalt plant in Cauldon. This position plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in vehicle weighing and data management. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Operating the weighbridge, ensuring all vehicles are accurately weighed in and out. Maintaining accurate records of weights and measures for reporting and compliance purposes. Customer and Client Communication- Interact with customers and haulage drivers, offering outstanding service and assistance. Coordinating with site operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance with site safety regulations. Processing and management of weighbridge data, and preparation of weighbridge tickets. Assisting in the implementation of site health and safety policies. Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the weighbridge and associated systems. What’s on Offer? Proven experience in operating weighbridges, preferably within the construction or related industry. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Previous Experience in an asphalt industry is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers and staff. IT literate, with experience in data entry and the use of weighbridge software. Awareness of health and safety practices, ideally with relevant qualifications.
