PR Senior Account Executive – Gaming and Consumer
Are you a gaming enthusiast ready to take the next steps in your career? Our client seeks a resourceful Senior Account Executive (SAE) for their growing office. This position is ideal for a well-rounded AE looking to step up to an SAE role, managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality work.
The successful candidate will work on video game and consumer brand accounts, requiring experience in both areas and a broad understanding of current and emerging consumer trends. You will serve as a client point of contact, handle day-to-day account activities, and help develop creative ideas and strategies across traditional and digital media. The role involves coordinating cross-European campaigns and contributing to new business briefs.
The position is based in our client's consumer team in London, known for working with high-profile gaming, retail, and consumer brands across various sectors.
The Role: Senior Account Executive
Salary: £32,000
Location: Hybrid with 3 days remote, and 2 days in the London office
Primary Responsibilities:
- Secure high-profile national, local print, online, and broadcast coverage for clients.
- Ensure client and media deliverables are high-quality and error-free.
- Develop and implement media relations strategies, goals, targets, and pitch angles that require minimum input from senior colleagues.
- Contribute to creation of communications strategies and tactics that meet client objectives.
- Create reporting templates and ensure deadlines for all client reporting requirements are met.
- Build relationships with key media targets in the video game and consumer space.
- Maintain clear and consistent communications between offices in Europe, agency partners, client partners, and the main UK account team.
Skills and Experience:
- Around 2 years of experience in agency or in-house roles, working with gaming consumer technology and lifestyle PR, and excellent media and influencer relationships.
- Consistently produces clear, concise, and engaging copy/content and can self-edit client and media deliverables.
- Has their finger on the pulse of the news cycle and can identify trends and deliver informed POVs to clients.
- Is a self-motivated individual with a passion for and deep knowledge of PR and social media.
- Has a proven ability to handle and manage work within a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Is organized and possesses the time management skills to stay on top of projects and multiple deadlines.
- Possesses the ability to help develop and execute creative strategy across traditional and social media platforms.
