Your working week will be balanced with time both delivering repairs and installations, and time spent completing your personal training and undertaking inspections/administration tasks, you will utilise your expertise to oversee and guide the electrical team and develop your leadership skills.
Your fundamental responsibility lies with the quality and compliance of the day-to-day work of the business.
Ensuring results of the verification process are accurately recorded on the appropriate certificates or inspection report.
Undertaking supervisory duties of employed persons & sub-contractors to ensure they are competent and adequately supervised.
Having adequate knowledge, experience and understanding of the design, construction, maintenance, verification and/or inspection and testing procedures for electrical work
Having adequate knowledge of applicable Building Regulations and Standards where relevant
Support QS on training and CPD activities.
Stand in for QS when he’s on annual leave (e.g., Qualifications: The main criteria that you need to apply for this role is Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) AM2 certificate, 18th Edition, Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
