The Opportunity
To effectively lead and be responsible for ensuring delivery of high-quality standards across our Occupational Health & Wellbeing services.
To ensure health and wellbeing initiatives are embedded and part of the KAEFER culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with People and HSEQ team, support the design and delivery of OH Strategy
- Ensure compliance to UK & Ireland health surveillance programme.
- Account management and liaison for outsourced Occupational Health provider(s).
- Working with Occupational Health Provider, People team and HSE team, implement effective health protection programmes to address construction-related hazards such as noise, vibration, chemicals, dusts etc.
- Support and promote mental health programmes and initiatives that align with the UK & Ireland strategy.
- Owner of occupational health-related policies, procedures, and guidance – ensuring fit for purpose solutions
- Supporting HSE on effective manual handling and dse assessments
- Working with People team and HSE team, collation of metrics relating to Occupational Health programmes for data led decision making.
- Any other duties associated with occupational health and wellbeing.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of work-related health hazards and exposures.
- Experience of coordinating health screening programmes.
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and to strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders and to create strong working relationships.
- Strong interest in workplace health promotion and mental health
Required
- Qualification in occupational health, health and safety, or other relevant health-related discipline or working towards a relevant qualification.
