Although not directly customer-facing, this role has a real impact on both Imperva’s business and ultimately the security of our customers throughout the world by helping our engineers to deliver technical expertise and assistance when, where, and how it is needed.
The Project Manager is a process coach and is responsible for driving adherence to PMI values, principles, and best practices.
As a member of the ICO Project Management team here at Imperva; Planning, leading and communicating end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams. Performing day-to-day project check-ins and updates to manage project delivery and quality.
Lead various technical projects using Agile/Kanban/Scrum or Traditional PMI Project Management methodologies
Develop project plans with defined scope and objectives
Track and report project progress, schedules, and costs to ensure resources are appropriately allocated
Monitor performance and deliver updates to stakeholders, facilitate adjustments and recommendations to deliver desired project outcomes
3+ years of technical and development experience in a project management role
Knowledge of project support for the following:
Configuration Management Tools - (Ansible, SaltStack)
Monitoring and Analytics - (Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Elastic Stack, Splunk, Datadog)
Cloud Service Providers - (AWS, GCP, Equinix Metal)
Scripting and Programming Languages - (Python, Bash, Go)
Demonstrated proficiency with project management methodologies and tools
Demonstrable experience in leading multiple technical/development projects simultaneously, with multiple teams and methodologies
Proven ability with problem-solving, process governance, and project completion
Good prioritization, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills to understand and gain buy in from stakeholders of different backgrounds and understand short-term vs long-term solutions
Technical background with business case, and knowledge management platforms like Smartsheet, Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow and Confluence is desirable
Strong understanding of DevOps principles including agile and iterative development and the use of automation to streamline processes and provide effective stakeholder management
Strong leadership and team management skills
