Ecommerce Marketing Manager

Better Placed are delighted to be partnering with a growing consumer brand as they are on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team in the exciting role of Digital Marketing Manager.
This position offers a wide-ranging scope, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the profitable growth of their Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel. Your responsibilities will involve maximizing the performance of acquisition, conversion, and retention channels and initiatives.
Ideally, you will thrive in a fast-growing SME environment, bringing leadership skills to make a daily impact. In collaboration with the Marketing Director, you will contribute to setting the strategy and rapidly expanding the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Management: Over 5 years of experience in a high-growth FMCG business, demonstrating proficiency in optimizing the D2C channel.
- Analytical Approach: Highly analytical with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset. Proven experience in setting and measuring KPIs, utilizing insights to inform future strategies.
- Collaboration and Brand Literacy: Collaborate effectively with the broader marketing team, placing consumer insight at the core of performance marketing initiatives.
- Paid Social/Search Management: Experience in managing paid social/search agencies to ensure profitable customer acquisition.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Hands-on experience in optimizing site performance to improve conversion rates.
- Project Management: Meticulous planner capable of organizing and overseeing complex integrated projects.
- CRM/Email Channel Expertise: Personal experience in managing CRM/email channels to drive revenue and enhance customer lifetime value.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaborator, capable of working seamlessly with the wider marketing and cross-functional teams to execute plans flawlessly.
- Positive Energy and Can-Do Attitude: A source of positive energy with a can-do attitude, comfortable thriving in the fast-paced environment of a scale-up business.
Desirable Skills:
- Creative Briefing: Experience in briefing and guiding paid social creative production.
- Content Marketing: Familiarity with content marketing strategies.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the health and beauty sector.
- Omnichannel Exposure: Experience in an omnichannel business with exposure to retail and grocery.
- Amazon Experience: Familiarity with e-commerce operations on Amazon.
