Key Responsibilities:

  • Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.
  • Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues to restore normal operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment performance and overall production efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Working Hours:

  • Shift Pattern: Double days (Monday to Friday) with flexibility required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, though candidates from other industries are welcome.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance practices.
  • Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Effective troubleshooting abilities for mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
