Junior Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Tax Manager on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Chichester. they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professional, bloggers, vloggers and you-tubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.
Drafting reports and letters of advice for many tax advisory issues
Training and reviewing work of more junior members of staff
Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes
Advising owner managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning
Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns
Advising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation
Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns
If you are not CTA qualified, you must be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA. Experience with corporate taxes is essential and experience in other areas of tax will also beneficial. You may currently be working in an accounts/audit team with a strong interest in tax advisory, or you may already be working within a dedicated tax team.
Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets
A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge
