We’re looking for an Operational Resilience Analyst (known internally as a Testing & Recovery Analyst) to join our Technology Business Services team at Tesco Bank.

You’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role within our Resilience Team working with key stakeholders to deliver and shape the Operational Resilience programme for Tesco Bank. You’ll be closely working with our senior leadership team, and stakeholders across the business and influencing our future ways of working.

You’ll work within the Resilience Team, reporting to an Operational Resilience Senior Manager. You’ll also be working with key stakeholders from across the Bank to help shape how we do things and execute the Operational Resilience programme.

Due to the size and nature of Tesco Bank the opportunity to broaden skills and experience across a number of different disciplines in the Operational Resilience environment, including Business Continuity and Crisis Management, are accessible, disciplines which are highly desirable experience within the Financial Services industry.

As Tesco Bank works in an Agile environment, you’ll get experience of shaping this in the team. You’ll also get the opportunity of expose to other disciplines in Technology Business Services.

What you’ll be doing

· Support the overall delivery of the Operational Resilience programme including helping to educate and inform stakeholders across the subject of Resilience.

· Working with colleagues across the Resilience team to support continuous improvements in our policies, frameworks and processes identifying instances of non-compliance.

· Collating and analysing data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats, working independently.

· Carrying out specified assurance and oversight activities including drafting reports, board papers and recommended corrective actions for review by senior managers.

· Resolving queries from internal stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by arranging meetings, events and drafting supporting materials.

· Carrying out, supporting and have oversight of the delivery of a specified range of scenario testing across Operational Resilience including Business Continuity, providing output reports capturing actions and vulnerabilities.

We need you to have

· Operational Resilience regulations – knowledge and practical experience of implementing these within a Financial Services organisation.

· Strong communication skills, having the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across the Bank .

· Experience of Operational Resilience frameworks and policy management .

· Experience with data collection, analysis and reporting.

And if you have any of these, even better

· Experience of management and execution of Business Continuity policies and frameworks.

· Understanding and experience of incident/crisis management disciplines.

· Experience of working in an agile working environment.

Role Alignment

Following the announcement regarding Tesco's' strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclay's UK towards the end of 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Please note, the transfer date may change.
