Apprentify was set up to simplify the world of apprenticeships and deliver development programs that improve businesses through enhancing staff. Our business was set up to improve the new age of digital apprenticeships from a new fresh angle cutting away some of the bureaucracy.
The role of the Trainer is to teach virtual classrooms to apprentices enrolled onto the Creative programmes to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment. Working in partnership with the apprentice’s line manager and Development Coach(s), you are responsible for designing training sessions in conjunction with curriculum dept and seminar style coaching sessions to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to apprenticeship standard. Ensure your own skill set is kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum in line with the apprenticeship standard you deliver upon.
Manage the apprentice experience of the virtual classroom, dealing with any disciplinary and classroom management issues, taking registers and reporting absence.
Coaching, supporting and mentoring all apprentices to ensure they have acquired the technical skills and knowledge to achieve the standard requirements through classroom, online and remote delivery training.
Providing constructive, high-quality feedback on learner assignments in the Apprentify VLE
Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment
Monitoring and reviewing learner welfare on a regular basis, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme.
Working with the employer/Development Coach(s) to set projects for the apprentice
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of work in marketing environment
A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training)
Pastoral welfare of young people and colleagues
Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapt to different environments and solve problems independently
Knowledge of apprenticeship sector & funding / regulatory rules
