You’ll teach GCSE Maths at the Foundation level, primarily to students in vocational programmes, working alongside a highly supportive, forward-thinking team.

Our Maths and English department consistently exceed national rates in GCSE and Functional Skills results. Qualified Teacher status (desirable)

GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above (or equivalent).

Experience in teaching GCSE Mathematics and exam-based qualifications (Functional Skills experience is a plus).

Understanding of the Ofsted EIF and its impact on classroom delivery.

Tyne Coast College was created from the merger of South Tyneside College and South Shields Marine School, with TyneMet College and Queen Alexandra Sixth Form.
