We are the leading foodservice and hospitality provider across the Island of Ireland, and we are looking for aHSE Compliance Managerto join our team on a full time, 12-month contract (with the possibility of moving to permanent thereafter).
AsHSE Compliance Manageryou will support and lead on all aspects of HSE, from day to day, projects and client relations.
To co-ordinate, support and most importantly lead on all aspects of HSE, to include day to day operations, mobilisations, client communication/reporting, projects and continuing building a higher benchmark of excellence across the estate Achieve and maintain Compass & client HSE KPI's to include EHO, Food Alert, client and internal audits Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in the management of HSE within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audits, inspections and team training Investigate food and safety incidents, report appropriately and implement improvements.
Provide all the evidences for the Compass SLA/KPIs to the Performance, Compliance and Analytics team.
Ensure all the personnel files are kept up to date To provide expertise and technical support to enable Compass to meet and exceed the required regulatory, corporate and accreditation requirements relating to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and the Environment across the range of services.
Regular unit/department visits both proactive and reactive.
Share lessons learnt Support central HSE team with training and projects where possible Support the engagement, buy-in and implementation of new HSE initiatives Support the management and development of the HSE Management Systems content on the HSE Website.
Personal coaching of Managers, Chefs and teams in facilitating their performance development to deliver safety culture continuous improvement.
To assist in preparing units for external audits.
Ensure the business is fully supported in meeting safety requirements via suitable and sufficient safety training sessions.
All Client sites to achieve or maintain Food Hygiene Rating of five (or pass equivalent) All Client sites to achieve a minimum 100% Food Alert score All Client sites to achieve a minimum 100% on SLA/KPI score Compilation of various reports that detail business performance Support completion of MAP data on a monthly basis Carry out programmed audits to assess standards About You: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and nurture effective business relationships.
Minimum 3-year experience in a similar role Degree/Diploma in health & Safety or equivalent Degree/diploma in food safety science or equivalent Proven experience in training and coaching HSE Compliance Organised, able to judge and prioritise Honest, transparent and consistent Gain and hold the respect of others Have a flexible approach with a "can do" attitude Auditing and/or Food Safety Inspection Experience Strong IT skills Membership of a relevant professional body Willing to travel and commute as necessary.
