Edinburgh or Inverness (home and office working) (Hybrid)

Changeworks is looking for a new consultant with a focus on residential building services engineering to join ourgrowing and highly regarded Consultancy Team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record ofmanaging projects with a high level of knowledge of low or zero carbon technologies and their implementation onthe built environment.
Based within our Consultancy Team, the role requires effective working with a range of stakeholders across adiversity of Changeworks projects differing in scale and complexity. Your creative streak will allow you toidentify innovative solutions, work around problems, identify new areas of work, and promote and disseminate ourwork.
These includearea-based domestic energy efficiency retrofit and decarbonisation projects and programmes.
We want todecarbonise homes in Scotland on a massive scale, and that needs talented individuals like you to help usdeliver on our objectives. You’ll receive full training plus coaching and mentoring.

This role will lead on local engagement around a just transition away from fossil fuels,particularly focused on alternatives to the proposed new gas power plant proposed in Peterhead.
You will receive a pro-rata share of 28 days annual leave plus 11 days statutory holidays.

Reporting to the Eco-Schools Scotland Coordinator, the Education and Learning Officer (Gaelic) will be part of theEducation and Learning Team and will ensure that all Climate Action Schools programmes and activities can betranslated into, supported, developed, and implemented in the Gaelic language. The Education and LearningOfficer (Gaelic) will also offer direct support to schools across the northern areas of the Highland Council,Western Isles and the surrounding area, by delivering in-person Eco-Schools and climate education training andworkshops. The Education and Learning Officer will also support learning establishments to engage whereappropriate with wider Keep Scotland Beautiful projects.
We are looking for someone with fluency in written and spoken Gaelic with a good working knowledge of supporting andimplementing large-scale youth-focused projects and initiatives.
You will have experience of coordinating and supporting volunteers along with the ability to plan, develop andimplement training and support. You will ideally be based in or able to travel throughout the areas where direct support to schools will be providedas part of the post.
