Sharpak Aylesham is a manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging for use in the Fresh Produce and Food Service divisions. Established in 1968, the site has significantly grown in recent years and aims to be the first choice for rigid plastic packaging solutions through our reliability, efficiency, and innovation as a manufacturer of sustainable packaging on a local and global platform.
Sitting within the Finance and Admin team, this is a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely procurement operations for Sharpak Aylesham. GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Grade C or above.
Previous experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing or FMCG environments.
Experience with purchasing or procurement software.
Proficiency in MS Excel for spreadsheet and report creation.
Any purchasing or procurement qualification e.g., CIPS level 3 or above is desired but not essential.
The role is fixed term for 12 months (maternity cover). Working hours are full time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch.
